Just a day after Jeff and MacKenzie Bezos announced that the terms in their divorce had been finalized, TMZ reports that the reported girlfriend of the Amazon CEO has filed for divorce from her husband. Divorce papers had been filed Friday to end the marriage between Lauren Sanchez, a former TV anchor, and Patrick Whitesell, the co-CEO of Hollywood talent agency WME, consistent with TMZ. The couple, who had been married for thirteen years, reportedly asked for joint custody of the two kids they had collected.
Lauren Sanchez became a famous call after Jeff and MacKenzie Bezos first stated they had been getting divorced again in January. When they introduced the divorce, the National Enquirer mentioned that Jeff Bezos had a relationship with Sanchez. The tabloid stated its reporters were investigating the alleged affair for 4 months and had tracked the couple “throughout 5 states and forty,000 miles, tailed them in private jets, swanky limos, helicopter rides, romantic hikes, 5-famous person hotel hideaways, intimate dinner dates and ‘pleasant time’ in hidden love nests.”
The National Enquirer also reported it had received “raunchy messages and erotic selfies” exchanged between Bezos and Sanchez, including “one steamy picture too specific to print right here.” One of the texts Bezos sent to Sanchez reportedly reads: “I love you, alive woman.” The New York Post said quickly after that, even though Sanchez and Whitesell were nevertheless married. They were separated on time. In the months since Jeff and MacKenzie Bezos first announced they have been splitting up, the affair between Jeff Bezos and Sanchez has been the subject of tons of scrutiny and information coverage. Bezos responded to the National Enquirer’s story on his alleged issue by launching a full-scale investigation into who leaked his non-public texts to the tabloid paper.
The investigation, in large part, pinned the leak on Michael Sanchez, Lauren Sanchez’s brother. He mentioned creating a “cope with the devil” by cooperating with the National Enquirer. However, he said that the deal did not encompass offering them any texts or pictures. News of Sanchez’s divorce comes just a day after both Jeff and MacKenzie Bezos took to Twitter on Thursday to say they had “finished the method of dissolving” their marriage and could be co-parenting their four children. As a part of the divorce settlement, MacKenzie Bezos stated she would provide Jeff Bezos 75% of the Amazon inventory the couple owned, in addition to voting control over the stocks she’s maintaining.
