A Boulder attorney passed away Monday morning while descending from the Mount Everest summit, a member of the family told 9NEWS. Christopher Jon Kulish, sixty-two, had successfully scaled the 29,half-foot top from the Southeast Ridge course within the morning, at about 6 a.m., Neighborhood time, according to a Reuters file.
According to a Nepal tourism branch, he died unexpectedly at South Col after descending from the summit, Mira Acharya. The particular reason for his demise is unclear.
